Itinerary:
Day 1 Pickup Surabaya or Malang – Tumpak Sewu – Guesthouse Bromo
6 AM Pick up time in Surabaya
8 AM Pick up time in Malang
10 AM in Tumpak, meet & greet guide, trek from top to bottom of waterfall. 3hours activity
1 PM short rest and change clothes
2 PM leave Tumpak for guesthouse in Bromo. Optional stop for lunch at local restaurant (client’s
personal expenses)
6 PM estimate arrive in Guesthouse

Day 2 Bromo tour – Bondowoso [B]
2 am start with jeep for Bromo
4 am sunrise point
5 am sunrise wittnessing
6 am back to jeep, go to crater, 1stop in Widodaren for photo
7:30 am hike up to crater edge
9 am back to jeep, leave Bromo, back to village breakfast
11 am car, proceed to Bondowoso. Optional stop for lunch at local restaurant (client’s personal
expenses)
14:30 check in guesthouse

Day 3 Bondowoso - Ijen - drop off Ketapang – ferryboat – Gilimanuk [B box]
00:00 start to Ijen, 2hours driving, please wake up 30minutes prior 00:00
2 am start hike Ijen
3 am blue flame spot *subject to situation on the day: Blue flame can be spotted by the 500meters as
the maximum distance allowed from the crater lake IF ONLY its flame is big enough as well as supportive
weather.
4 am summit followed by sunrise witnessing.
6:30 am descend from Ijen.
8 am leave Ijen for Ketapang harbor.
9 am estimate arrive in Ketapang harbor.
9:30 – 10 am Onboard ferry.
12 pm arrive in Gilimanuk harbor. Please note Bali time is 1hour faster than Java.

Optional/additional transfer duration:

• 40minutes to Pemuteran, cost at IDR 300K per car. 

• 1.5hours to Lovina, cost at IDR 500K per car. 

• 2hours to Munduk, cost at IDR 600K per car.

• 3.5hours to Ubud/ Canggu. Cost at IDR 700K per car.   

• 4hours to Kuta/ Candidasa/ Amed. Cost at IDR 800K per car

1. Times mentioned above are based on estimation in normal situation

2. Any change particularly for starting time will be informed by the tour driver.

3. Sometimes an earlier start may required to avoid traffic & crowd, as well as to avoid being late to catch the main highlight of each places.

   >> What to wear: in Tumpak Sewu light clothes / swimwear, trekking sandal/water shoes, extra dry clothes for changing. In Bromo & Ijen: Jacket, pants, comfortable shoes.

>> Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ):

1. Is it possible to pick up in Airport or train station? Yes. Please make sure the flight arrival is before 4:00 AM. If by train, 1hour before pick up time is fine.

2. Is it possible to drop off in Airport or train station? Yes, either Surabaya or Denpasar airport are possible. Please make sure the flight/train departure is 2hours later than 5:00 PM (17:00), flight leave around 19:00 should be fine. IF will take train to the west like Yogyakarta, we suggest in Ketapang train station.

3. So the luggage must be carried during tour? Yes. But you will leave it in the car while you’re doing the activity.

4. Is it allowed to fly drone? Currently the Bromo National Park policy is not allowing to fly drone on any point/ spot. While in Tumpak Sewu and Ijen are fine.

5. How about the availability? Tour available daily. Unless there is a closure by the local authority due to local’s event or any routine agenda with a prior notice.

6. Tour is not available on below starting dates either due to Mt. Ijen Cleaning routine agenda & Nyepi (Hindu’s Silence Day) in Bromo:

7. How about the accommodations? Accommodation is a guesthouse type or small hotel, private room with en suite bathroom.

8. Why does overnight in Bondowoso instead of close to Ijen? Driving duration to Bondowoso from Bromo is 4 hours, vs direct to Ijen (from Bromo) can take 6 hours. It’s just to split the 6 hours driving time instead of take long driving in one go, it is the way more convenience. However sometimes if we run out of availability in Bondowoso, we will alter the overnight location to Ijen.

9. How to book? (1) check out button will bring you to deposit payment link; (2) Deposit IDR 500K is required to secure/reserve your space, 2% card charge applied; (3) Booking Form to be completed with your specific booking details; (4) Booking Confirmation will be sent by email.

10. How about the rest of payment? Rest Payment during the tour day cash basis. Balance payment by card is possible, by 5 days prior the tour start. Another card link is subject to 2% admin charge.

11. Is it possible to finish/drop off (back) in Surabaya or Malang? Yes. Additional cost will be applied: IDR100K per person.
